Recipe: Banana-berry ice cream

This banana-berry ice cream is naturally sweet and flavorful and requires only four ingredients: bananas, berries, milk and vanilla extract. Ingredients:

2 ripe bananas

1 cup frozen berries

¼ cup milk

⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Optional: fruit toppings

Directions:

1. Peel and slice ripe bananas into large chunks and freeze for at least two hours.

2. After the banana slices are frozen, blend all ingredients in a food processor or blender until the texture is similar to soft-serve ice cream.

3. Serve immediately, or freeze for an additional 30 minutes for a firmer texture.

4. Add your favorite smile-healthy toppings.
